Rush is a legendary Canadian progressive rock band formed in Toronto in 1968.

Best known for its iconic classic lineup of bassist/vocalist/keyboardist Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson, and virtuosic drummer/lyricist Neil Peart, the power trio became pioneers of prog-rock.

They have sold over 40 million records worldwide and trail only The Beatles and The Rolling Stones for the most consecutive gold or platinum albums by a rock band.
