Gene Ha is best known for his work with writer Alan Moore, Top 10 and its prequel, The Forty-Niners. He has also worked on various books for Marvel and DC Comics, including the X-Men, Captain America, Superman, and the Justice League over a 27 year career. He has won four Eisners, the highest award in American comics. Three of these were for his work with writer Alan Moore. Gene Ha currently writes and draws the series Mae from Lion Forge/Oni Press. Mae is Gene’s dream project, bringing together his love of children’s and YA books, comics and scifi, and his home state of Indiana. It’s the story of 18 year old Mae Fortell, who follows her long-missing sister Abbie to a world full of mad science and mystery.
