Joe Benitez is the creator, writer, and artist of the best-selling steampunk graphic novel, Lady Mechanika, a Victorian era sci-fi series about a young woman who survives a mad scientist’s horrific experiments that left her with mechanical limbs and no memory of how she obtained them. Joe has also worked on such titles as “Titans” and “Superman/Batman” (DC Comics), “Magdalena” and “The Darkness” (Image Comics), and “Soulfire” (Aspen Comics). JOE BENITEZ ART
Peter Steigerwald has a long career in comics during which he has done nearly every job possible. He is best known as a colorist and for his artistic collaborations with Michael Turner. In 2003 he and Frank Mastromauro helped Michael found Aspen Comics. After Turner’s death in 2008, Peter has continued as Co-Owner of Aspen Comics with Frank, keeping Michael’s legacy alive and creating new projects and characters. Peter has also had a coloring hand in many high profile events and covers for DC, Marvel and Joe Benitez Productions’ Lady Mechanika, He can be most easily found at Aspen’s offices working through the night on the current volume of Fathom and any number of other things, including (semi-rarely) his creator-owned book that he writes, illustrates and letters, The ZooHunters.
